2. Fibroadenoma
Fibroadenomas are lumps or tumors in the breast that are not cancerous. Fibroadenomas are generally experienced by women aged 20-50 years and rarely experienced by women who have menopause. Although not dangerous, fibroadenoma still requires further treatment, usually with surgery.
3. Breast abscess
Enlarged breasts can be caused by the formation of abscesses or collections of pus under the skin of the breast. This condition is generally caused by a bacterial infection.
Breast abscesses can make breast skin red, warm, and swollen. Patients with breast abscesses can also experience fever. Pus in this abscess needs to be dried. The doctor will suck it with a needle or make an incision in the abscess so that pus can come out.
4. Breast infections
Breast infection or mastitis is a condition that is quite often experienced by nursing mothers. This disease occurs when bacteria enter the breast through a wound in the nipple. This infection causes swollen breasts and pain. Enlarged breasts due to infection are generally treated with antibiotics.
5. Breast cancer
The presence of a lump in the breast accompanied by discharge from the nipple when not breastfeeding, the nipple is pulled in, the skin becomes sunken or changes color may be a sign of breast cancer.
